6 New crossbeams and a new central deck pod were constructed according to the design of James Wharram. Here not only glass and epoxy were used but also extensive carbon in order to provide extra strength without adding weight.

Nets fore and aft were renewed and also the whole running rig. All windows in hulls and cabins (totalling 24) were constructed to measure in stainless steel and opening, not a cheap solution but important in a hot climate!!

Important features of this cat:
Whole paint- and epoxy system renewed.
Where necessary old plywood replaced.
Perkins Diesel with a retractable Z-drive. Can be made steerable for maneuvering purposes
All Windows and Portholes (Seitenfenster) stainless steel and opening
Central Deckpod / pilothouse with navigation table, double berth and space for diving equipment, compressor etc.
Sleeps 5 comfortably.
Extensive electronic equipment (not yet installed and new) can be purchased as an extra.
