BILDGE SYSTEM
Provided in main by an electro-pump GIANNESHI ACM 501
Automatic bilge pumps in all compartments
The emergency is ensured by the emergency fire fighting/bilge Gianneshi ACM 501 power either by the main switch board or by the emergency generator
The motor-pump is the Class and Flag State Emergency fire fighting /Bilge item.
Suction and discharge pipes of bilge system are in cupro-nickel.
Suction in different places of the yacht (6 watertight compartments) is provided through a manifold in galvanised black steel (50 mm diameter), with a non-return foot valve, a strainer, and water level detection in each compartment. All suction points will be kept clear and easily accessible.
Direct suction is in the engine room compartment and manual pump in the fore peak.

FIRE FIGHTING
1 x Fire detection unit, certified, including:
1 x Central unit in the wheelhouse
2 x Ionic fire sensors in the engine room with buzzer and flashlight

2 x Ionic fire sensors in tile saloon/dining room
1 x Thermal detector in the galley
1 x Thermal detector in the crew mess
1 x Ionic detector in the laundry
1 x Ionic sensor in the lazarette

Break glass activation of the alarm system in the galley and in the engine room
A fire fighting system by inert gas is permanently installed in the engine room. It includes the following:
3 x Vertical 30 kg Modrzejow C02 bottles in a locker on the port side sideway
4 x Diffusion devices in the engine room
Manual activation from the C02 locker, after closing of the engine room access.
Air intake ducts and fuel oil supplies shut off upon activation.
Visual and sound alarms in the wheelhouse and in the engine room, pre-indicating the release of C02
Fire fighting with sea water under pressure is provided in main by 2 electro-pumps Gianneshi ACM 501
The emergency is ensured by a motor-pump Lombardini/Rexroth of 42 m3/h capacity, located in the lazarette, with adequate flexible quick connecting pipes
Suction pipes connected to these pumps are made in galvanised black steel. The sea chests are fitted with hull valves in stainless steel with flanges
2 x Fire fighting stations are equipped with:
20m of flexible hose, with sprinkler tap, and storage drum on the fore deck
20m of flexible hose, with sprinkler tap, and storage drum on the aft deck
A fire fighting system by inert gas is permanently installed in the lazaret. It includes the following:
1 x 26.5 kg FM200 BSCO
FIRE EXTINGUISHERS
A set of multipurpose ABC powder fire extinguishers in various locations and C02 fire extinguishers in every compartment according to regulations;
Locations agreed with Class, recorded and available on the posted Safety Plan;
Miscellaneous safety equipment also available such as:
2 x Fire blankets for the galley
2 x Firemen's suit with breathing apparatus.
Safety certificate renewed annually and up to date until next visit due February 2014.
