SHORT HISTORY OF THE CENTURY CORONADOS:

The Coronado not only had style but also impressive speeds reaching in excess of 55 mph with stock engines. In the 14 years of wood Coronados, only 1,743 units were built. The Century Coronado was designed with very lavish appointments that may not be obvious on first glance. The deck featured planking aft, but the foredeck is raised and covered in padded vinyl. Around the foredeck, is venting for the forward part of the boat. Gracing the transom is a "v" shape that has a grille, providing venting for the gas tank area.
