This beautiful Ketch rigged Gulet is soon to return from a year long and trouble-free cruise around the Eastern

Mediterranean with her owner and his wife who took a wonderful year away from work on this reliable, comfortable and now highly trusted yacht. She was lifted out and bottom painted/fresh anodes March 2010 (see photo).

Beautifully, painstakingly and intelligently refitted as a true and comfortable live-aboard vessel with potential for charter work.

This 16m Gulet is altogether a fine example of this type of vessel, with potential as a charter craft or live-aboard (presently used by owner) and any inspection and survey invited. The owner is soon going back to work and is asking a realistic price on this very special 16m Turkish built Gulet.

16mtr ketch rigged Gulet, superbly equipped live-aboard/charter boat. Built Turkey 1979 of hard yellow pine, totally refitted in Marmaris in 07/08.

Usual 3:1 g/box,135hp Volvo Penta Diesel (rebuilt 07), 3 double cabins, two shower/electric toilets (07) storeroom, large salon with 8 seater dining table, large galley with inbuilt Waeco 65litre fridge, microwave, 2 burner Beko cooker(gas), granite work surface, mixer tap. This Gulet has large lockable (opening double doors), Captains chair, new instrument panel (08) large chart area, radio CD player. Very large aft lower deck with drop leaf table, complete roll-down sectional all-weather cover, area covered with green "grass style" carpeting, A/C fridge in cockpit.

Davits and 2mtr passerelle (haul-up). Large main deck and side decks, which have been covered with mastic with marine ply and GRP over. Covered access to anchor locker with huge storage area, anchor locker marine-ply and GRP. 60mtrs main anchor chain, 54kilo admiralty style anchor, secondary anchor, grapnel style with 70mtrs rode 34kilos, spare ropes.

Two sails, Dacron jib and main. 5 hatches in main deck, all cabins have roof hatch and Vetus windows. Twin masts taken out refurbished 08. All rigging 316 certified 8mm stainless with new (08) Norsman fittings.

Performance:
She cruises at an average speed of 7knts and will max at 9knts, and sails comfortably with engine ticking over approx 3/4knts. She uses approx 8litres p/hour and is extremely economical.
