We have considered very carefully our offering to our agents and indeed what we expect in return.

Many Yacht Broking franchises rely heavily on extortionate up-front ‘joining fees’ running in the thousands and this accounts for a large proportion of their Head Office revenues. We believe that this is not only the wrong focus but also it also sets a bad start to the business as the Franchisees try desperately to recoup this considerable initial cost.

We are not a franchised operation because we think that the franchise model is fundamentally flawed and too heavily balanced in favour of the ‘Head Office’

In addition to this the Franchisee has to pay the Head Office often in excess of 50% of any commission no matter what part Head Office had to play in the process. We believe that a sale should be broken down into its various components and that the party responsible for each component should be rewarded for it. This is surely fair.

Think Yachts has worked incredibly hard to stand alone in many new brokerage features all designed to empower our agents, help support the sales process (for more and quicker sales). Think Yachts has made, and continues to make, a substantial investment into the website, system, marketing and admin. Part of our investment has been to allow our agents to list their own boats, and target promotion specifically at those, as well as benefit from the entire Yachtworld Co-Brokered database (now approx. 68,000 yachts) on our website and under the Think Yachts Branding.

Our focus is to generate our broker and head office revenue streams from the sale of yachts for our mutual benefit and not from short sighted up-front extortionate fees.

Agent Package Features:

• Online marketing of all boats by Think Yachts – international coverage
• Ability to target specific boats
• Ability to list boats internationally online without expense, upkeep and IT degree
• Ability to benefit from central YachtWorld subscription and 68,000 co-brokered yachts
• Listed boats - Think Yachts sourced boats assigned directly to brokers (although Agents should always look to market for their own sourced listings)
• Extra business opportunities and revenue streams
• Where there is a necessity for local representation leads generated by these listings will be fed to our nearest Think Yachts broker.

As you will see www.thinkyachts.com website is sophisticated and multidimensional with simplicity, ease of use, power and customer focus at its core. It will offer professional help and advice from partner experts in their fields as well as goods and services from world class suppliers at reduced Think Yachts rates. You will gain 50% commission splits for any business that you introduce to our partner companies. Unusual? Perhaps!

As you can see considerable sums of money will be spent on optimising and running this site on a monthly basis to ensure it becomes and remains a market leader. The only monthly charge Think Yachts ask for is a very moderate amount of €150 to contribute to these costs. This is the one and only ongoing cost for our agents and we hope that you agree that this is fair and reasonable. We ask our brokers to pay for this in advance each month and the agreement can be terminated at any time just by giving 30 days notice. We want our brokers to be with us because they want to be.

What Do We Require?

• No joining fee
• 150 EUR per Broker Office for monthly contribution, paid in advance, to site optimisation, site management and ‘pay per click’ search engine sponsorship
• Listings activity – target say 20 listings in first 6 months
• Up to date information on sales enquiries
• Monies paid through Think Yachts’ client account (3 working day turnaround)
• Contract period – initially 6 months but this can be terminated by either party with one months notice.
